In September, Cityskills Krav Maga Berlin opened its doors. After some preparation time and a lot of work, we could welcome our first students at our location in Berlin-Neukölln. All three instructors, Sylvain, Stefan, and Marc, introduced themselves to the students with training sessions.
What else has happened since then? Quite a lot! So it’s high time for a short summary.
New members and new locations for self-defense in Berlin
Our group is growing and getting new members all the time. Every single one is welcome and will be gladly accepted into our Cityskills community. The more, the merrier.
We now have almost 900 followers on Facebook. We are very happy about this and would like to thank everyone who has supported us here so far. This month we also have two new locations in Schöneberg and Prenzlauer Berg. We are conquering Berlin piece by piece! We will let you know soon when and where we will be offering self-defense there – stay tuned!
More training and quality assurance
Since August, we have already been on the road twice for further training and seminars in Germany. In August, we were with students at the IKMF Krav Maga Urban Warrior Camp in Wiesbaden, in October we went on a road trip to Munich to the Combat Fighting Seminar with Israel Tamir. Twice, our Cityskills Kravists also presented themselves at the level testing and passed all exams with flying colors.
And we instructors also stay fit: at our regular instructor training sessions, we prepare for our classes to give you solid self-defense training – like this Sunday at the outdoor training at Gleisdreieck. Urban Sports and Adaptive Krav Maga
We are very happy to be able to work together with our partner Urban Sports. From November on, you can find us in their offer and learn self-defense with us via an Urban Sports membership. There has also been progressing with our Adaptive Krav Maga. In the meantime, we have built up a wheelchair group as well as a blind and visually impaired group with whom we train. Because for us, “self-defense training for all” is not just an empty slogan. We prove that we also follow our words with actions.
So in just two months, we have now put all this together. We are looking forward to the next months and years with Cityskills – Krav Maga Berlin!
